This position is REMOTE.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
As our Bid Manager, you will be in effect, running and managing bids by:

  • Reporting to the New Business Operations Manager in a full-time, dedicated capacity; utilizing your prior Sales Coordinator or Bid Manager background with proven, demonstrable results.
  • Working with Account Managers (the client) to review their potential opportunities and to collaborate with them on determining the win/insight selling strategy to for each opportunity.
  • Working with the Development team to ensure they are able to provide the required deliverables required for each opportunity and hold them to their deliverable dates
  • Working with a Project Manager from the Development team to ensure that all deliverable concerns (i.e. schedule, scope, budget, etc.) are being delivered by them to round out the bid response.
  • Working with the New Business team to ensure opportunities are staffed with the right people (and not be afraid to fight for availability).
  • Ensuring opportunity responses have all the necessary deliverables and be able to jump in to assist where required.
  • Being responsible for ensuring the time allocated to the Development team members to work on opportunities is spent efficiently and smartly.

What You Need for this Position

  • Required: 1+ year experience in bid management, proposal development, pre-sales or equivalent areas in the software development industry for opportunities ranging anywhere from $10,000 to $1+ million dollars.
  • Has a demonstrable, strong drive and desire to win business. - Excellent time management and organization skills; opportunity life cycles are typically short (1-2 weeks).
  • Excellent verbal communication skills; you may be asked to sit in client-facing calls with Account Managers.

We have an immediate opening for a dynamic sales professional to join our growing sales force. The Sales Development Representative will lead new client acquisition across the Media, Healthcare, Construction, and Food and Beverage market segments.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of B2B consultative sales experience in a hunter role focused on generating and developing sales leads for IT services and solutions. 

This position is REMOTE.

Required selling skills include prospecting, hunting, lead follow up/nurturing, relationship building, and mastery of the consultative sales process.

Opportunity Overview:

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for driving prospecting and lead generation activities to build the sales pipeline for the sales organization. The Sales Development Representative will utilize cold calling, email, and 2.0 social selling techniques to conduct high-level discovery calls with prospects to generate and qualify leads for the outside sales team.

  • Daily outbound calls to targeted leads (60+ calls)
  • Qualify all sales leads based upon specific qualification criteria
  • Provide baseline research within targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to prospecting call
  • Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of OPTASY's technology – and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective customers
  • Contribute to sales meetings and management of the sales cycle (forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance and data entry)
  • Use social selling tools to target and engage accounts and prospects
  • Track all sales activities using CRM
  • Reach daily targets for dials, conversations, and appointments
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience (IT services required)
  • Ability to understand and successfully promote technical offerings and solutions
  • Proven track record of successfully generating qualified meetings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced telesales and prospecting skills
  • A willingness and ability to spend 75% of the workday on the phone
